40 Gallons of Diesel? (21 + 19) ??!?! Nice range.
 Occasionally,
I will see one of these on ebay. It's an extra 19 gallon auxiliary
tank. Now I know we all pride ourselves on having a 21 gallon
tank. It's nice to be able to go 550+ miles per tank of gas.
but to get 40 gallons.. hmm.. besides the small home equity
loan you'd have to get to gas up, most of us would only have
to gas up once a month. That's pretty sweet. They cost around
$200, and I figured that $200 could buy a heck of a lotta diesel,
so I decided not to... but then again, if I ever see one pretty
cheap, I think I may just snag it. Here are some pictures.
I can find no suppliers of these, but you may be lucky to snag
one off ebay.
From what I've leaned and read, it's a pretty easy install
and once it's in, you never have to switch to the other tank
or anything. The bad thing is, now you can't fit as many body's
in the trunk.
