I changed out my alternator, because I had nothing else to
do pretty much. It's a pretty easy fix, here you go:
First of all, "most" people say that it's not the
alternator that has gone bad, it's the "Voltage Regulator"
or something like that for $40. While this is true, you can
usually get a nice refurbished BOSCH on ebay for around $50.
Why not replace the whole thing -eh?
If you're going to do this, you might as well get all your
belts changed. Belts are cheap.
If my old belts don't look too bad, I will usually throw them
in my trunk, because if these brake.. you're stranded.
